Tucked deep in the woods of Hocking Hills, many claim this is the most picturesque area of the region. This place is a geology lover’s dream – exploring the cross-bedding and concretions on the cliff face will keep enthusiasts busy for hours. If you’re feeling ambitious, you can pass through “The Squeeze,” which is a narrow passage to the bottom of the gorge. Just watch your step on the cliffs!

This amazing state park sits on 318 acres, surrounded by miles of forest, and has activities for all times of the year! From boat rentals to sledding, ice skating and even ice fishing, the park has something for everyone. Lake Logan is known as one of the best fishing lakes in the state of Ohio, and also offers great hunting options, with a valid Ohio license, of course. Picnic areas have tie-ups for boats on the northwest and south shores of the lake, there’s a beach, and a hiking trail to explore the nature and wildlife.
