And one last thing…
Focus on Rockhouse
I recently went to Hocking Hill’s Rockhouse for the first time earlier this week! As a first timer, I must say this location blew me away! Rockhouse is the only actual cave in all of Hocking Hills’ state parks! Beautiful rock formations, easy to moderate hiking trail (there are some steep steps leading down to the ‘house’, but after that it’s mostly flat walking)! Easy to read trail maps were posted at key points of the trail as well, so there were no worries of getting lost! We took the simple .9 mile loop and really enjoyed the sites and stunning rock formations! And while some Hocking Hills trails are pet free, at Rockhouse dogs are welcome as long as they remain leashed. All in all it was a beautiful location, easy and quick hike and we definitely would recommend it!
