The Holiday season is here! Holiday shopping, Santa meetings and more all cam be done this week in Hocking Hills! Or if you’re looking for a little bit of time to unwind before the holiday season, you can always book your winter getaway with us!  Private hot tubs, crackling fireplaces and quiet time to relax and disconnect can do wonders toward making one feel renewed and ready to take on the holiday season! If you are coming to Hocking Hills these next few weeks, here are a few great activities and things to do on a winter getaway in Hocking Hills!

Saturday, December 14th 5-7pm
Christmas in Ash Cave

Join us on a winter stroll to Ash Cave. Make sure to dress appropriately for the December chill! Once you make it to the cave, warm up by the open fre and enjoy some refreshments. There will also be carollers and some activities for the kids as well. There may even be a visit from Santa Claus himself!

Walking Tour of the Historic Athens Asylum

Join this guided tour of the historical Athens asylum. Learn about the haunted history, as well as the plans for the land going forward. This expert led tour will be teach you all about the buildings and history of the Ridges. The tour leader will share his insights on the treatment of patients and the 150 history, peppered with storied, personal anecdotes as well as insider info on the hidden locations throughout the grounds.

Christmas Caroling at Bowen House

Meeting at the Bowen House in Logan, join us for a Holiday Tradition going back for years! Bring back those deep memories of singing door to door and spreading the Christmas cheer! Hot cocoa, cookies and refreshments will be provided.

Ash Cave Winter Solstice Hike

Come celebrate the official beginning of winter! Winter Solstice is the shortest day of the year and signifies the change from Autumn to Winter. Stop on over to Ash Cave to join in on this guided hike to learn about the changing of the seasons and to appreciate the still beauty of nature in winter!
