Burr Oak Owl Prowl
Stop on over at Burr Oak State Park Lodge to learn all about Ohio’s favorite nocturnal bird, The Owl! There will be a presentation on some of Ohio’s owls and a Live Owl will be present! After the presentation join in on a short hike and try out some owl calls to see what owls we can hear and see!

Cedar Falls Stroll
Join us on a beautiful Friday morning hike at Cedar Falls! Get some steps in, see some nature and learn all about the the unique natural & cultural history of this area of the park! Meeting right at the beautiful Cedar Falls!

Hocking Hills Locals: Grandma Gatewood
Stop over at the new Hocking Hills Visitor’s Center at Hocking Hills State Park and learn about one of Hocking Hills’ most famous names Rowena “Grandma” Gatewood. If you haven’t heard of Grandma Gatewood, you may recognize the name from the 6 mile hiking trail named in her honor. Learn all about who she is and why she is important to the State Park and our trail system!

Whispering Cave Hike
Another wonderful Friday Morning hike for you! Meet at the Naturalist Cabin located by the cabin/lodge area to join in on this hike of Whispering Cave. This moderately strenuous hike might not be great for beginners, but perfect for experienced hikers. You will hike out to the second largest recess cave in all of the park!

Have you ever heard of a Hemlock Tree? These gorgeous trees play a huge part in the local ecosystem here in the Hocking Hills, and you can learn all about it at this event!
