Small Business Saturday Sales
Black Friday is great, but Small Business Saturday is even better! Get great deals while supporting local small businesses! Make sure to check out Treehouse Treats and Treasures and Fox’s Book Adventures in Logan for great sales and The Nelsonville Emporium in Nelsonville also has holiday sales, raffles, samples, and more!
November 30th
Santa Train Rides
A Must Attend event for kids! This annual event is a long standing tradition, and has been running for three decades! Santa Train Rides will be running on each Saturday and Sunday through December 22nd. Trains depart at 11am and 2pm, and there will be a 6pm evening train on Friday, December 6th, 13th and 20th. Enjoy a 2 hr ride on the historic scenic railway and meet Santa Claus himself! Make sure to have the little ones bring along a Christmas list to show Santa! This event sells out year after year, so make sure to get your tickets early to secure your spot!
December 1st
Santa House in Logan
The Santa House in Logan Ohio has been making the holidays special for children for over 20 years. Just stop on over to The Santa House in Worthington Park in Logan. Santa Clause is available to visit every Friday, Saturday and Sunday between 6-8pm, up until the last weekend before Christmas.
December 7-8th
Jack Pine’s Holiday Open House
If you haven’t seen Jack Pine’s hand-blown glass pieces, this is your chance! Stop by between 10am-7pm. There will be live glass blowing demos throughout the day, plus food, drink and plenty of one-of-a-kind blown glass pieces will be available for purchase. These locally made glass pieces make perfect Christmas gifts and stocking stuffers, or just keep them for yourself! Plus, this year lets spread the charity, bring in a new unwrapped toy to donate and you will receive a free holiday ornament!
December 8th
Cookie Decorating at Treehouse Treats and Treasures and Fox’s Book Adventures
There is nothing that says Christmas more than hand decorated cut-out cookies. Join us in Logan at Treehouse Treats to hop into the holiday season with some Christmas cookie decorating! Cookies are available to purchase by the dozen or half dozen, just buy them first and decorate in house!
