Valley Zipline offers 3 courses for beginners and experienced zipliners alike.

To start off your ziplining experience, you’ll begin with ‘ground school’ for safety and technique training. Then you’re on to the lines! After the first lines getting comfortable with the equipment, we move on to the more unique lines.

After you select your tour, you are walked through some safety training and orientation, where they teach you how to zip on a low practice line. And from there, your adventure begins!

Hocking Hill Adventure Treks offers a variety of options for your Rock climbing and Rappelling adventures, ranging from 2.5 hr into sessions to 5 hour combo packages! Everything you will need will be provided, including rock climbing shoes.

Climbing Treks will have you climbing real rocks and cliffsides, with trained and certified trainers directing you each step of the way.

Rappelling Treks are a great adrenaline rush, focusing on just ‘easy part’ or rock climbing, the dropping down!

This is a 22 mile paved bicycle trail connecting Athens and Nelsonville, Ohio. Athens is about a 30 minute drive from the cabins, but there are some great restaurants and breweries in Athens that would make for a great day trip while you’re in the area!

This is a perfect option for city bikes or if you’re looking for a paved surface to ride on!

Located in the Appalachian foothills of Southeast Ohio, Baileys Trail system has been in progress since 1993, and expansions are still on-going! Mountain biking trail throughout the Wayne National Forest. The trail plans the cities of Athens, Chauncey, The Plains and Nelsonville. Baileys Trail currently features 31 miles of trails, with 88 miles planned in the years to come!

The Baileys is built for all skill levels of cyclists, hikers, runners, and nature enthusiasts!

Lake Hope State Park features 25 miles of mountain biking trails. These trails range from moderate to difficult and are suitable for experienced riders.

Lake Hope State Park is just a 20 minute drive from your Cherry Ridge Retreat cabin, and spans nearly 3,000 acres of forested land, with a stunning lake and swim area, as well as hiking and biking trails.

Insider tip: Grab a bite to eat at Lake Hope Lodge after your ride for a delicious and convenient dining option!

NevilleBillie Adventure Park offers Polaris brand ATV rentals, and they have a few different options available. If you’re planning to ride on the miles of wooded trails, the Polaris Generals are your perfect pick! If you’re more interested in driving on some of Hocking Hills’ famous winding roads, check out the Polaris Slingshot SL. 

NevilleBillie Adventure Park also offers miles of trails to ride around in on your ATV, as well as additional great options for the whole family, like Paintball, the World’s Largest Rope Course, and the Moonshiners Mystery Shack!

Adventure Pro Outdoors offers ATV and UTV rentals so you can experience miles of off-road trails on Wayne National Forest with the experts in outdoor fun. 

Offering over 75 miles of designated trails for off-road vehicles. Their trained guides will take you on a series of easy to intermediate trails helping create an experience you will never forget! Beginners welcome.
