This Week in Hocking Hills!

Monday, May 27th 10am The Wonders of Old Man’s Cave

Make sure to stop by the naturalist cabin by Old Man’s Cave for this education event. State Park Naturalists will lead a short hike, with plenty of fun facts about the history of the area, plus some information about the many rock formations you can find hiking through the park!

Tuesday May 28th 12pm 40th Anniversary of Quilt National

The Dairy Barn Arts Center in Athens will be celebrating their 40th Anniversary of Quilt National by showcasing their exquisite collection of Contemporary Quilts . These aren’t your grandma’s quilts, (although you will find some examples of traditional American quilts in the exhibit)! This art form is something you wouldn’t generally think could be so unique and fascinating, but you would be surprised! This exhibit will be open Through September 2nd, so make your way over and check out some quilts!

Sunday June 2nd 7th 11am Monday Creek Canoe Float

Enjoy this 6 mile float on the Hocking River! Learn about the successes of the Monday Creek restoration project as you float along the beautiful Hocking River, and join in on some fun activities for all ages! Suggested donation of $20, make sure to pre-register by May 28th.
